Eboo Patel is a member of President Barack Obama’s inaugural Advisory Council on Faith-Based Neighborhood Partnerships. He was born in 1975, and is originally from Mumbai, India, an American Ismali Muslim of Gujarati Indian heritage and founder and president of the Interfaith Youth Core. The Interfaith Youth Core is a international nonprofit that aims to promote interfaith cooperation.

Mother Teresa of Calcutta was a Roman Catholic religious sister and missionary, living a majority of her life in India. She had founded the Missionaries of Charity, a Roman Catholic religious congregation, which ran hospices and homes for people with HIV/AIDS, leprosy, and tuberculosis. Throughout her lifetime she received a number of honors, in 1970, the Nobel Peace Prize, 2003, she was beatified as “Blessed Teresa of Calcutta;” since she did not receive a second miracle credited she is not recognized as a saint by the Catholic Church.

Muhammad was known to be a mentor for Malcolm X, Louis Farrakhan, Muhammad Ali, and his son, Warith Deen Mohammed. He took a small movement and transformed them into a complete empire, one that consisted of banks, schools, restaurants, and stores, it had between 20,000 to 50,000 members.
